A Day in Glasses
Throughout the day, you should never be too far away from a glass. Whether it’s meal times like breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or a typical glass of water resting on the table as you work, there are many times when a glass will be used throughout your day. But what about those times you didn’t think of, those rare occasions where a glass can be used? There are so many uses for glasses, a few of which you might take for granted. Let’s take a look at daily glass use together, and also find out a little about glass protection too.
Many wake up to a glass of water on the bedside table. You might whisk an egg in a glass. Or, fill your glass with bananas - smoothies we mean! Finally, a glass of orange juice and you’re already filling up a rack in the dishwasher, and that’s even before you’ve left the house!
While many people think their daily caffeine intake consists of a throw-away cup of coffee on the way to work, others still love a traditional mug of coffee or tea in the office. This can be the start of a glasses build-up. Particularly since it’s recommended that we drink between 1/6-2 litres of fluid per day, which looks at most about ten 200ml glasses1. These lined up on a desk could take up a lot of room. Depending on how you like your desk set-up you could find some extra uses for glasses – have an office plant? Water it with a glass! Pen holder? Check!
Whoever you are, there are so many uses for glasses that you might not expect. Whether going out, or playing arts and crafts, uses for glasses may be surprising and dishwasher filling. From a makeshift rolling pin while baking, or filling with chocolate mousse, you can make so much with glasses. As for the night-owls, glasses for peanuts could be just the ticket for a fun snack.
With such abrasive tasks your glasses may need the benefit of glass protection, especially if you want to keep them sparkling. With every wash your glasses can go cloudy, but Finish Shine and Protect can keep your glasses shiny for longer.
