Finish Paper-based Packs¹

Finish is Australia’s first to offer kerbside recyclable paper-based bags¹ across thermoforming dishwashing tablets. Simply dispose of your finished pack into your paper bin after ripping off the plastic zipper (which should be disposed of in general waste). These are now available in select sizes and range across Finish tablets.

: Finish is Australia's first to offer kerbside recyclable paper-based bags¹ across thermoforming dishwashing tablets. Our packs are paper-based¹ and contain 75% less plastic² vs the same size Finish plastic pack today.
: Consumers can find Finish’s new recyclable paper-based packaging¹ from 16^th March in Woolworths, Coles, & other leading supermarkets. Some pack sizes will be rolling out throughout the year as we transition from existing ranges on shelves.
: In 2026, we will be launching paper-based packs¹ across our thermo-forming ranges of Quantum, Ultimate & Ultimate Plus, in tablet sizes between 46 – 80. Finish remains committed to driving a more sustainable future, and we are continuously looking to optimise our packaging solutions moving forward.
: Our paper-based packs¹ look and feel different from our existing range, as they contain 75% less plastic². The range is easily identifiable with a paper-based pack¹ strip in the top right corner of the pack.

Discard plastic zipper strip in your general waste bin.
Place bag in your paper recycling bin.

Performance FAQs

: Yes, the paper-based packaging¹ has been designed to be sturdy and water-resistant under normal use. It has been fully tested to withstand transport and household conditions.
: No. Extensive testing has confirmed that Finish tablets perform just as effectively as before. The remaining plastic reinforces the packaging structure and ensures the seal functions properly, so customers can enjoy the same high-performing, convenient, and reliable product - now in a more environmentally conscious format.
